According to her, the husband-to-be reneged on his promise to rent a separate apartment for her, but instead said she would stay in the apartment he shares with his first wife and children.
“Someone I know recently cancelled her wedding because her husband-to-be, who promised to rent her a separate apartment since she’s coming in as a second wife, hadn’t fulfilled the promise even a week to the wedding. He later said she should come and stay in the general house, a 3 bedroom apartment he already shares with his first wife and four children,” she wrote.
I’m glad some women going into polygamy are no longer settling for uncomfortable “management” treatment just to be married.
Men, understand that there cannot be peace when you force two or more wives to live in the same space.
Co-wives staying in separate locations still have issues sometimes, not to talk of those living under the same roof.
