According to her, this wasn’t her daughter’s first time travelling. In fact, the little girl has been flying since she was just one month old. So, when it came time to send her home to Jamaica, the mum decided to take the solo travel route.

She explained that she booked a flight that allowed her to accompany her daughter through TSA and sit with her right at the gate until boarding time.

In the video, the mum was seen walking her daughter through airport security, making sure the child had everything for a comfortable flight — including a tablet, headphones, and a full rundown of what to expect.

Just before boarding, she gave her daughter final instructions: who would pick her up, their names, and what to do once she landed.

“She’s a brave girl and very smart,” the mum said proudly, reassuring other parents that once you truly know your child, solo flights with airline support can be a safe and smooth experience.
