After allegedly being beaten and ejected by her boss for leaving him during a dispute, a Nigerian woman has taken to social media to express her outrage.
User @_sisilayo, posing as Funmilayo, a staff worker at the RoyalRex Hotel and Spa, posted the incident on TikTok. Funmilayo described in the video how she had gone back to the office after closing time to help a receptionist when her employer, architect Bimbo Fajemirokun, came and was unable to use his key to enter the premises.
She claimed that once he started screaming at her, she turned to leave. She claims that after dragging her into his office, the employer beat and slapped her before throwing her out of the building. “Funmilayo is my name. The RoyalRex Hotel and Spa is where I work. “Architect Bimbo Fajemirokun, my boss, beat me up tonight because I left,” she stated in the video. She added that even though she was meant to close at 6:00 p.m., she had come back to assist the receptionist with a few duties. She said that the fight began when she failed to turn on the door for her employer. She went on to say, “He threw me out of the building, slapped me, beat me up, and pulled me by my clothes.”
She also displayed the obvious wounds she received in the event. Outrage was aroused by the video as it went viral online, and a lot of people flooded the comment area to voice their worries and demand justice.
