Grief enveloped Ugaga Ohuhu Owo in Oju Local Government Area of Benue State on Tuesday as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to lay to rest Deborah Eneyi Ohekuru Okwori, the interior designer professionally known as Deb’rah Porsche.
Daily Post reports that Deborah was allegedly murdered by her jilted lover, Lintex Ogale, in Lagos on September 3, 2025.
Ogale reportedly stabbed her multiple times before fleeing. She was rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The moment the casket bearing Deborah’s corpse arrived in her hometown, her mother moved mourners to tears with a heart-rending tribute: “Since you did not wait to dance at my burial, I’ll dance for you instead.”
Her remains will be buried on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Ogale has been remanded in Kirikiri Prison.
