JUST IN: Ebonyi governor Nwifuru resumes after three-week leave

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State says he has resumed duty after a three-week annual leave.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Tuesday, Nwifuru said he returned “refreshed and fully ready” to continue delivering on the needs of the people.

“Now more than ever, I am energised and committed to delivering on the needs of our people, pushing forward on all fronts, and driving progress across every sector of our beloved state, Ebonyi,” he wrote.

The governor thanked residents of the state for their continued support and trust in his administration.

“Let’s get back to work, together,” he added.
