Captain William Troost-Ekong opened the scoring in the 55th minute from the penalty spot before Substitute Akor Adams doubled Nigeria’s lead in the 80th minute.

Lesotho pulled one back through Hlompho Kalake in the 83rd minute, but the Super Eagles held firm to secure all three points.
